remont announces the re-introduction of an orange central knurled barrel to its MB Meteor model. In a nod to the original MBII, the re-introduction of the orange barrel celebrates Bremont’s legacy of bold design in pilots watches.
First celebrated for its rugged durability and aviation pedigree, the MB range celebrates Bremont’s 16 year partnership with Martin-Baker, the British ejection seat manufacturer. In April 2025, Bremont presented its latest evolution, the MB Meteor in grade 2 titanium, offering lightweight performance, increased legibility, a slimmer Trip-Tick case construction and elevated versatility.
The return of the vibrant orange central barrel on both the silver and black dial editions of the MB Meteor, is a nod to the original colour palette of the partnership. The barrel is constructed from grade 2 titanium and coated with a ceramic finish developed by Cerakote® — a proprietary blend of ceramic and polymer materials engineered for exceptional toughness. The ceramic content provides outstanding hardness and thermal stability, while the formulation ensures strong adhesion and long-term performance for challenging conditions.
An extensive research and development process was undertaken to identify the perfect shade of orange that was true to the original. The colour not only needed to evoke a striking and energetic aesthetic but also had to meet Bremont’s uncompromising standards. Achieving this balance between vibrancy and durability was a critical deliverable to ensure it met Bremont rigorous testing methods and endure the most demanding environments.
Davide Cerrato, Bremont CEO comments: “This reintroduction embodies the spirit of bold innovation that defines Bremont. The orange barrel is a vivid design statement and a tribute to our long-standing partnership with Martin-Baker. It’s a celebration of colour and the uncompromising performance of the MB range.”
As with all Bremont models within the Altitude collection, the MB Meteor has undergone the same rigorous testing protocols developed in partnership with Martin- Baker, including live ejection testing, extreme temperature exposure, vibration, and impact testing—ensuring its credibility as a truly military-grade instrument.
