Milus presents the Archimèdes Worldtimer - Blue Odyssey

Seamlessly connecting time zones across the globe, this new timepiece embodies the brand’s historical link to the sea, now elevated with a worldtimer function for the modern explorer. Inspired by the legacy of Super Compressor Divers from the ’70s, it merges adventure, utility, and elegance.

eflecting the fascination of today’s travellers with the world’s connections, the Archimèdes Worldtimer captivates with its elegant city bezel and remarkable diving capabilities. This bold watch encourages its wearer to venture into the vast, uncharted realms of both time and ocean with confidence and style.

Archimèdes magnifies the historic links between Milus and the diving world.

Taking over the codes of Milus Super Compressor 20 ATM from the 70’s, the modern reincarnation of Milus diver comes in a robust 316 vintage style stainless steel case, 41mm, rated water resistant up to 300m. It is equipped with a discreet helium escape valve in the case band at 9 o’clock and a signature dual crown. The case alternates brushed surfaces and polished accents topped by a highly domed sapphire crystal that reinforces the vintage appeal.

The focal point of this extraordinary timepiece is its gradiant blue dial adorned by the inner bezel displaying 24 time zones. This feature allows the wearer to track time across the world by matching his real-world location to the corresponding time zone on the watch.

The Archimèdes Worldtimer - Blue Odyssey is powered by the reliable ETA 2892-A2 (top grade) movement and comes with the new Aqua Steel bracelet or a blue Tropic strap . The bracelet is equipped with the Milus Safe Release system. This innovation allows for easy and fast bracelet changes, perfect for those who like to update their accessories according to their style.

The original 1970s Milus Super Compressor watch served as the inspiration for the modern-day Archimèdes by Milus collection.

The Supper Compressor case played an important role in the history of dive watches. Its innovative design utilises a unique “ compressor” system whereby the case becomes more watertight as the watch descends deeper.

As atmospheric pressure increases, the caseback is compressed on the gaskets creating a tighter seal. This was a major selling point back in the 1970s and Super Compressor watches stand tall as some of the most coveted dive watches today.
