n 1957 Hamilton introduced the first electric timepiece: the Ventura. The pioneering, futuristic design established itself as a symbol of innovation and quickly attracted like-minded devotees and one collector in particular who built his career by daring to be different. Elvis Presley was a dedicated fan of the Ventura from its debut. He amassed a personal collection of the mid-century modern design icon and Presley wore the Ventura in his musical “Blue Hawaii.”

The new Ventura Collection is inspired by Presley’s hit single “Blue Suede Shoes”, the first song on the artist’s self-titled debut record. Released in 1956, the album set in motion a career that would change music and the world with “Blue Suede Shoes” leading the way, just as the Ventura ushered in a new era of watchmaking.

The collection includes six models of the Ventura, each featuring a striking gradient blue dial which emphasises the sweeping lines of the triangular case.

The Ventura is equipped with nickelled hour, minute, and second hands powered by a trusted three-jewel quartz movement. The iconic case is available in either stainless steel or PVD-coated yellow gold. Matching stainless steel or PVD-coated yellow gold flex bracelets blend seamlessly with the case. Meanwhile the rich Blue Alcantara strap options compliment the deep blue dial and call to mind those famous shoes of Presley’s.

The collection includes two models of the Ventura Chronograph Quartz. Powered by a precise 23-jewel quartz movement, the gradient blue dial includes three subdials measuring seconds, minutes, and hours. The Ventura Chronograph Quartz is available exclusively in a stainless-steel case accompanied by either a matching stainless steel flex bracelet or Blue Alcantara strap.
