elbana introduces a new edition of its renowned Recordmaster model dedicated to the craft of Swiss watchmaking by intrinsically blending fundamental performance with modern design. The Recordmaster Mechanical is a continuation of the brand’s return to mechanical timepieces in honor of 90-years with exhilarated nostalgia. Now with a hand-wound movement, it combines the refreshed look of the highly sought-after anniversary Recordmaster while incorporating even more original details.

The Recordmaster Mechanical represents Delbana’s first hand-wound timepiece in decades. It recalls a time when wristwatches were uniquely essential and invites the wearer to have a tactile connection with their timepiece. The experience of hand winding evokes a simpler time, without reliance on digital technology. Select details such as the absence of a date window and the slim 10.8 mm case pay subtle tribute to the original vintage format.

True to the 1950s model and the anniversary Recordmaster I, applied arrowhead indexes and retro Arabic numerals coordinate with the classic stainless steel or new yellow gold PVD case. The perimeter of the dial is appointed with a minute track containing oversized circular luminous hour markers, which frame the Recordmaster’s signature stepped microgrooves. Cathedral shaped, luminous minute and hour hands and a striking, red central seconds hand along with a vintage Delbana logo complete the tribute to old and new.

Now available in classic silver dial with black incised grooves or reversed black with silver grooves, the new collection also introduces neutral combinations of champagne and copper with silver or black grooves surrounding the delicately appointed central guilloche pattern dial. The SW210-1 handwinding movement with 18 jewels is visable through a transparent case back to allow the user to experience the unmistakable quality of a mechanical Swiss Made timepiece. The refined shape and brown or black hand-made Italian leather strap complete the ode to afforadable luxury.

Over seventy years after the first Recordmaster was introduced, this new rerelease of Delbana’s cherished model celebrates history with contemporary strength, precision and design. Its tribute to new and old embodies our commitment to “make every moment count”.
