acquet debuts its first timepiece, the Rallymaster, a tennis-inspired wristwatch made in collaboration with storied Swiss watchmaker Maurice de Mauriac. The Rallymaster pairs classic vintage details with modern tennis world cues. Its dusty pink colourway and multiple strap options celebrate tennis lifestyle on and off the court.

Designed by Carlton DeWoody, a creative best-known for interior design, the watch draws inspiration from uniquely graphic watch dials of the 60’s & 70’s. For this first-time partnership, Racquet and Maurice de Mauriac connected with DeWoody, whose passion for tennis and deep knowledge of vintage watches made him an ideal collaborator.

“For this traditional three-hander, I aimed to bridge past and present, reinterpreting classic design with a contemporary lens,” DeWoody says. “I have an affinity for vintage chronographs, often seeking out references with unusual patterns, typefaces and other graphic details. The colourful sub-dials, and patterning of yachting and racing dials was the perfect inspiration for us.”

Zurich-based watch brand Maurice de Mauriac is known for its exclusive mechanical watch designs. Their collections have set themselves apart by pairing sportiness and luxury with quality Swiss craftsmanship. Run by the Dreifuss family who operate the brand with an independent spirit, their colourful personalities and unique styles come through vividly at their atelier in Zurich.

Racquet, a cult tennis quarterly and media company founded in 2016, is the voice of a new tennis boom. Tired of seeing tennis portrayed as a country club sport for elites, Racquet has been building a community of tastemakers and creators in cities around the world.
