In addition to his new role as CEO, Mr. Marks will retain a Consulting position for Phillips Auction House, where he has worked for the past six years.

Mr. Marks, a longstanding family friend and esteemed figure in the luxury watch industry, brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to Biver, complementing the dynamic father-and-son duo founders of Biver. Mr. Marks joins the brand after having been Deputy Chairman, Watches and International Head of Phillips’ Perpetual, where he was a key member of the international management team, spearheading both physical and e-commerce ventures for the department and achieving multiple world records at auction. Prior to this, James held a number of significant roles as an investment banker and portfolio manager. His dedication to innovation and excellence seamlessly integrates with the Atelier’s core values.
