ndependent Japanese watch brand Minase will organize its very first event in the USA in December. Members of the press are invited on December 3 at 11am for a welcome drink, a brand introduction and a Japanese lunch.
Minase started its international adventure four years ago. All Minase craftsmen are trained on the principle of “Monozukuri”: learning by doing, again and again.
Quickly enough, America became the brand’s first market with over half of the sales. Now that borders have re-opened, Minase’s team plans a very first trip to New York to finally meet the local press and brand’s enthusiasts.
Here is the program (December 3rd, 2021):
- 11am Welcome Drink
- 11:30am Brand presentation – History, values, mission
- 12pm Open discussion and presentation of watches
- 1pm Japanese Lunch
Minase’s first event in New York will take place at the Horological Society Library on 44th Street. Founded in 1866, the Horological Society of New York is one of the oldest continuously operating horological associations in the world. Today, the nonprofit organization is dedicated to advancing the art and science of horology through education.
The brand’s clients and fans are invited later the same day, also at the Horological Society Library.
