Masterpiece, Maurice Lacroix’s flagship collection, now has a new complication, the retrograde calendar. The elegantly proportioned case sets off to perfection the resolutely technical aspect of this watch, like its-finely worked silver dial. To achieve a balanced effect, the date indicator is situated in a 130° circular segment at 10 o’clock, opposite the power reserve indicator at 2 o’clock. The mechanical movement, with its delicately polished surfaces and blued screws, can be admired through the case back.
