Derived from the Power 1 design, the “Transworld” reverses the usual functional distribution of a double timezone watch. This timepiece’s 2k-hour and minute totalizers serve as what might be called a real-time memory of... its wearer’s home time, the centre-positioned hour and minute hands being used to display local time. A very unusual feature is that the two minute hands can be set at odds from each other. Despite this movement’s complexity, all its parts form a device no more than 0.80 mm thick including power-reserve indicator ! (VINCENT CALABRESE “Transworld”)
