Corum “Météorite-Mars”

The dial of this outstanding model is carved in rock from the planet Mars. Fragments of Martian rock, projected into space by the impact of a huge meteorite, were captured by the earth’s gravity and fell on our planet in 1962, in the form of meteorites. The proof that they came from Mars was provided by analyses of the surface of Mars carried out by the Viking probe in 1976. These Martian meteorites come into the extremely rare group of “SNC meteorites” which consists of only about a dozen specimens. Limited numbered series of 25 watches, in platinum and red gold, with certificate of origin. (CORUM “Météorite-Mars”)
