Jaquet-Droz : from distinguished name to distinctive make. This wristwatch marks the first design in a collection saluting its founder, Pierre Jaquet-Droz (1721-1790), one of the most inventive craftsmen of his day. Water-resistant, individually numbered, fashioned in 18K gold, it is equipped with a twin-barrelled selfwinding movement. Every detail is carefully designed and finished : blued steel hands with openworked lozenge tip, miniature motifs in the minute circle, case middle enhanced with rounded godroons and engraved case back.
