ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse, a Swatch Group company, is enriching its line of ‘Swiss Made’ range-entry movements by launching the F06.811 calibre measuring 11 ½ lignes, meaning a 26.20 mm diameter. With the arrival of this movement powering a 24-hour GMT indication, the Trendline collection welcomes a new type of display enabling simultaneous reading of the time in two different parts of the world. While local time is still indicated in the dial centre, home time appears at 9 o’clock in a 24-hour counter. This GMT function is based on an innovative mechanism serving to indicate two separate displays: one in the centre and the other at 9 o’clock, both powered by a single ‘engine’.
