Alfex Translucent 8x

A watch, an accessory, a piece of jewellery: with its Translucent 8x, the Ticino-based Alfex brand explores uncharted territory. This contemporary and avant-garde watch innovates first and foremost in terms of its shape with a bangle-type textured acrylic strap, and secondly through its lines. An octagon duplicated all around the strongly curving bracelet creates a wire mesh pattern composing a sequence of “8” numbers echoing the mathematical symbol of infinity. The off-centred dial shakes up conventions by framing the outlines of four assembled octagons. This model showcases the technical and aesthetic talents of Alfex by achieving a perfect balance between materials: supple and transparent acrylic on the one hand, and sturdy steel on the other, all in harmonious shades of grey.
