Blancpain Tribute To Fifty Fathoms No Rad
Blancpain is reinterpreting an emblematic model from the mid-1960s, a version of which equipped the German Navy’s Combat Swimmers: the Fifty Fathoms “no radiation”. This logo stamped on the watch indicated that Blancpain did not use radium-based luminescent materials, a distinctive sign that subsequently forged its success with collectors. The steel case, water-resistant to 300 metres, measures 40.3 mm, a diameter exclusive to Fifty Fathoms watches in limited editions – in this case 500 pieces.
