Autore South Sea Pearls stared alongside US actor Halle Berry at the red-carpet premiere of her new movie “Gothika”, in Los Angeles on Thursday November 13, 2003. Berry's three pieces - especially commissioned for the “Gothika” premiere and all featuring rare gold South Sea pearls - are valued at more than USD$30,000.

The three Autore pearl pieces were especially designed for the movie star following a meeting between Autore and Halle's stylist, in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Berry will be wearing an 18-carat fine gold chain lariat pendant, looped through a tear-drop pave-set design of 21 smoky brown Argyle diamonds, with four large golden Autore Pearls suspended at intervals on the fine gold chain. The 3-inch gold drop earrings are held by the same Argyle
pave-set diamond tear-drop motif (12 diamonds in each) and feature a single golden pearl at the end of an 18-carat fine gold chain drop.

To complete the set, a cuff wrap bracelet was also specially crafted. The wrap carries through the fine chain design and holds 20 golden Autore pearls which mass together at the wrist.

This stellar pairing of Autore and Halle certainly set the cameras flashing and set a president for anybody planning a trip down the red carpet. Halle Berry's stylist immediately commissioned three pieces - a pendant, earrings and a cuff wrap bracelet - for the much anticipated Gothika Premiere the moment she set her eyes on the Autore collection.

Berry joins a list of luminaries who have all worn Autore jewellery including Sarah Jessica-Parker, Helena Christensen, Elle Macpherson, Angelina Jolie, Angelica Huston, Kelly Preston, Rachel Griffiths, Keanu Reeves, Pedro Almodovar, Ellen Barkin and Sarah Wynter.

Hollywood is not the only fan of Autore - the company recently was awarded the prestigious citation as the official jewellery supplier for the Orange British Film Academy Awards (BAFTAs) being staged in London next February.
