Two new exclusive online services transform the German watchmaker’s already popular ladies’ line into a more unique and personal experience.

The Pavonina series from Glashütte Original is all about the confident and style-conscious woman. Since 2013, the series has been a pillar of the brand’s ladies’ collection. Now, new models featuring timelessly beautiful dials and colourful straps offer even greater variety.

The series is already quite versatile, spanning from understated classics to luxurious glamour pieces. What they have in common, however, is the cushion shaped case, which is inspired by design elements of the 1920s. At their heart they also have the in-house 03-02 quartz movement.

This spring, new models were added to the already successful line, including new dial versions and more colourful straps in taupe, rose, golden beige, red, anthracite, turquoise, pink, orange or dark blue. Each one is hand-crafted at the brand’s in-house dial manufacture in Pforzheim, Germany.

But there’s more. The Saxon brand has just announced two new new online services which will make the Pavonina even more versatile, and I think, even more of a fan favourite.

One is the newly launched online strap configurator. Through the platform, users can browse the entire spectrum of Pavonina case, dial and strap versions. Whether it’s a new customer or an existing Pavonina owner looking to pick up a new strap, the new tool allows anyone to create their individual combination.

In a second move to increase personal ownership of the timepieces, the brand is offering an engraving service, too. Just a few mouse clicks away, the polished case back can be augmented with either personal dedications or a decorative motif. Interested owners may choose from a great variety of designs and decorative elements using the new online platform.

One drawback of fashion watches is that there are many of them out there that look relatively similar. One way to overcome this is to simply allow greater personalization to customers.
