Ball Watch has launched the robust and reliable Engineer Master II Diver, targeted at a young a dynamic demographic. The release of the new precision diving instrument also happily coincides with brand ambassador Guillaume Néry’s new diving record.

And the latest addition to the collection is no different. In fact, the new release is a reinterpretation of a previous Engineer Master Diver model. And you can’t blame them, given how that watch has underscored the success of their collection.

The defining feature of the Engineer Master II diving watches is their internal, unidirectional rotating bezel. It is used to count down dive time using an extremely precise notch system, preventing any accidental movement that might somehow overestimate the maximum dive time. That special bezel remains visible under all circumstances too, thanks to the micro tubes of luminous H3 gas used for the graduations and the Arabic numerals.

This state-of-the-art Swiss technology provides Guillaume Néry with the assurance that even at the darkest depths of the sea - where the ambient light can be as little as 1% of that at the surface - he will be able to rely on his trusty diving instrument. The micro gas tubes produce light up to 100 times brighter than conventional luminescent paint, meaning that you too will be safe from the dark.

Adding some contrast and depth to the design of the timepiece is the black dial, which sports a lined pattern. The metal indexes indicating the hours and the circular graduation also add further refinement and contrast to the dial.

Precision is ensured by the automatic Ball RR1102 movement, which displays the hours, minutes, seconds, day and date. The robust, brushed stainless steel case - with its industry standard diameter of 42 mm and a height of 14.55 mm - provides exceptional water resistance of up to 300 meters. Ensuing that it can be worn in the most extreme conditions, the watch also boasts resistance to shocks of up to 5,000 Gs and to magnetic fields with an intensity of up to 4,800 A/m.
