The afternoon began with a rare taste of Switzerland- a private helicopter ride over Switzerland’s famous Alps to discover the true Swiss landscape. Landing at Mr. Biver’s private residence, Usain was greeted by the Hublot family who hosted him to celebrate not only his amazing achievements from the recent games in London, but also the sprinter’s 26th birthday.

Bolt was presented with a very special cake made by Swiss Chef Benoit Violier from the Restaurant de l’Hotel de Ville in Crissier/Lausanne. To top off the celebration, Hublot also presented Bolt with a unique present- a King Power Unico All Carbon, with a customized case-back, as gift for his London Victories.

In “Lightening Bolt” style, Usain showed off his three gold medals to the Hublot friends & family in attendance. His dynamic personality and charisma shown through as gave guests, a chance to admire them, taking pictures and sharing memories.

“I had a great time with the Hublot team and I was really touched by their gifts and warm welcoming. It is an honor to be part of this family, who always support and believe in me” said Usain Bolt. “We were thrilled to host legendary sprinter Usain Bolt today and to celebrate his 26th birthday. It was a pleasure to share this special time with him and have the opportunity to personally congratulate him on his tremendous gold medal victories… We wish him the best of luck for the upcoming races, as well as, a very happy birthday!” added Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman and Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot.

This party was a great opportunity for the sprinter to relax before his next competition… But the day was far from over for our champion, who jetted by helicopter back to the track! No rest for winners! Usain Bolt was running in his first athletic meet since winning his three gold medals in London yesterday, August 23, 2012 in Lausanne, Switzerland.
