Obaku focuses on a rigorous approach to minimalism in its designs, meaning that all unnecessary details are left out, creating timepieces that offer the ultimate in clean, uncluttered lines.

The latest offering from the Danish brand is a perfect example of this. Its 41.5mm diameter round case contains nothing but the essential, even down to the understated links in its steel bracelet.

Three versions of this new model are available, in stainless steel with a white dial or titanium with a black dial and, finally, an all-black model. Obaku has also announced that a chronograph version will be available in the near future.

Says Obaku Marketing Manager Henriette Arvin, “In general we aim to design evergreen watches, which won’t go out of fashion next year.”

“Big and bulky watches with wild colours may not be popular next year. However, the Obaku designs are timeless and will also be in style ten years from now”.
