The two models set to be presented by Yonger & Bresson, a brand of the Ambre Group, which is based in Morteau, France, both use versions of the first in-house Ambre calibre that was presented at last year’s BaselWorld.

The La Vallière model has a square case in stainless steel measuring 35mm x 35mm and is fitted with the MBP 1000 calibre with three hands and date at 6 o’clock, which has a 45-hour power reserve. A classic silver dial with Roman numerals in polished stainless steel with luminous hands characterise the design.

The De Vigny model features the Ambre 1030 calibre version of the basic movement, which has a date window at 3 o’clock, a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock and power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The 1030 calibre offers a power reserve of 42 hours. The De Vigny comes in a round 42mm-diameter case in polished stainless steel with a black dial. It has luminous Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock and pyramid-shaped chrome hour markers in between.

Both models are fitted with a black leather strap with a foldover clasp. The red tip on the interior of the strap is the only indication that these timepieces are fitted with the in-house calibre. The movement is in each case visible through a transparent case back that displays the skeletonised oscillating weight with black PVD treatment that bears the Yonger & Bresson logo.
