Europa Star is offering a unique opportunity for retailers to attend a four-day comprehensive training course in Switzerland just before BaselWorld. This exclusive course, conducted by Europa Star’s journalists and watch industry leaders, will give retailers all the tools they need to be outstanding salespeople.

Day 1 (Sunday, March 20, 2011):

  • Display 101 – the basics of how to display a watch

Day 3 (Tuesday, March 22, 2011):

  • Watchmaking Level 1
  • Key parts
  • Hands-on dial and hand assembly
  • How a watch works
  • Bracelet sizing and more
  • Sales Level 1
  • Complications Simplified
  • The future of the watch industry
  • Swiss Surprise 2

Day 4 (Wednesday, March 23, 2011):

  • The Knowledge Level 1 Test
  • Certification Presentations
  • Guided visit of a manufacturer
  • Guided visit of a watch museum
  • Travel to Basel by bus or train for those wishing to continue to BaselWorld.
  • End of course

In addition to the course, orientation and coffee is available for those who are visiting BaselWorld for the first time - Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 9 am - meeting point in front of Halle 1.
