London’s only event devoted to fine watches James Gurney, editor of QP Magazine, Britain’s leading watch title, is delighted to announce that this November will see the second edition of SalonQP staged at Sir John Soane’s neo-classical masterpiece, One Marylebone.

The only event of its kind in the UK, SalonQP is where the world’s most prestigious watchmakers come to present their latest creations to a wealthy and discerning audience of collectors and enthusiasts.

As style guru Tom Stubbs points out, watches matter. “Recent years have seen appreciation of fine watches go from the preserve of an enlightened few to essential knowledge to those who wish to engage with style on all levels. On a style level, being clued up and opinionated on watches is as important as knowing your cars, architects and your wines. Do not be found lacking.”

The undeniable highlight of SalonQP 2010 will be the world debut of a new piece designed by the world’s greatest living watchmaker Dr George Daniels CBE in collaboration with his former apprentice Roger Smith. This watch is already the subject of global interest and it will be one of the most important launches of the decade.
