It is that time of year when Switzerland’s watchmakers’ take a hard earned rest. After a busy first half of the year that has seen an abundance of new timepieces, movements, boutique openings, partnerships and associations, it is a good time for the profession to sit back and recharge its batteries for what we expect will be an equally enthralling end of the year.

For the world’s retailers, it is now one of their peak seasons and we wish them all great business this summer
