Longines and alpine skiing - a successful partnership continues

www.worldwatchweb.com - Longines will be using its timing skills on the glistening mountain slopes, namely as the official timekeeper for the 2009-2010 Alpine Skiing World Cup competitions organised by the International Skiing Federation (FIS).

The Norwegian skier Aksel Lund Svindal, Longines Ambassador for Elegance, and Walter von Känel, President of Longines, during the price giving ceremony. Aksel won the crystal globe for the 2009 Overall World Cup title in Are, Sweden (2009).

Throughout this season, all eyes will be on the Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal, the previous winner of the Overall World Cup, the Super-G crystal globe as well as the gold medal in Super Combined at the World Championships in Val d' Isère. Longines would like to take this opportunity to wish its ambassador of elegance every success during the coming season.
