Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 50 LHS - Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 40 Diamonds
A staple element of the Corum collection of watches, the Admiral’s Cup series has taken on a new, even sportier look with the Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 50 LHS.
Designed for instant short-time measuring, this Chronograph has its push buttons on the left of the case – hence the LHS (Left Hand Side) – making it ideal for either left-or right-handed users. The size of the watch has been increased to 50 mm to create space for the hour markers, counters, date and chronograph functions. The 12 instantly recognizable nautical pennants that highlight the hours are now on the outer ring dial.
Dressed in black and shades of grey the watch has an elegant sobriety. The Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 50 LHS is in titanium with a vulcanized rubber bezel and is equipped with a self-winding CO 753, COSC certified movement and has a cambered twelvesided sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water-resistant to 300 metres, the Chronograph comes with a black vulcanized rubber strap with a titanium buckle.
… and for the ladies
In stark contrast to the ultra-sobriety of the LHS model, Corum has introduced an Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 40 Diamonds model. Designed specifically for the ladies, this 18 carat red gold model measures 40 mm and is equipped with a self-winding Chronograph movement, CO 984, which is also COSC certified. The dial is in black mother-of-pearl and the three counters – small seconds at 3 o’clock, 12 hours at 6 o’clock, 30 minutes at 9 o’clock – are gilded. The date indicator is at 4.30 the 12 nautical pennants are on the flange of the watch. The bezel is set with 66 diamonds (0.924 carats), there is a cambered twelve-sided sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and the watch has a 42-hour power reserve. Water-resistant to 50 metres, the Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 40 Diamonds comes with a black crocodile leather strap with an 18 carat red gold buckle.
