Inaugurated in 1985 on the frozen lake of St Moritz in Switzerland, the Cartier Polo World Cup on Snow celebrated the 25th anniversary of an exceptional tournament, one of the most long-awaited international sporting events of the season.

Genuine jousting events on snowy terrains, these entertaining and exceptional fixtures have inspired Cartier to create a special anniversary trophy. For this 25th anniversary of the Cartier Polo World Cup on Snow in St Moritz, Cartier has created the Maillet d'Or, a new trophy for which rival teams will compete each winter in the renowned ski resort.

Release of a special anniversary model
To mark this unique occasion, Cartier has created a special series of watches.Limited to twenty-five individually numbered timepieces, the “25th Cartier Polo St. Moritz” Pasha watch is equipped with a self-winding movement.
