In the first advertised election for ladies watches by Amica, the Manero RetroGrade won the approval of readers of the German fashion magazine and people’s magazine Bunte.

The German fashion magazine, Amica, presented the 2008 Momento Award in Berlin’s China Club for the first time this year. Readers were invited to elect the most beautiful ladies watch in the categories of jewelry, mechanical, sport, classic and fashion.



Carl F. Bucherer stood out from its competitors in the mechanical category and won the award with its Manero RetroGrade model. Its special features include the exclusive CFB 1903 automatic movement, a retrograde date indication, power reserve display and days of the week and 24-hours displays. The timepiece’s external appearance is exceptionally attractive, with an 18K pink gold case, a diamond-studded bezel set with 64 brilliants and a bracelet made from exclusive Louisiana alligator leather.

Altogether, 35 models competed for the 2008 Momento Award in the five categories.
