Frederique Constant Genève, is proud to announce a sales growth of 29% for the first six months of the year 2005 in comparison with 2004.

“We have seen a significant increase in activity across most of our regions in the first half of 2005. Western Europe returned to sales growth. Strong growth continues in Russia, North America and Asia. In view of our intensive programmes of promotional activities and new product launches, sales growth should continue to accelerate for rest of the year,” says Peter Stas.

Over the past 10 years Frederique Constant has had a growth rate of 25-30% per year, increasing its annual production to 44.000 pieces in 2004. According to the owners and founders of Frederique Constant, Peter and Aletta Stas the success of the brand lies in the passion for watches and its development. “Over the years we have introduced a great variety of exquisite watches such as the Tourbillon, Retrograde and Day-Date models, all featuring Frederique Constant’s renowned feature, the Heart Beat Aperture. Together with these passions coincides an excellent partnership with our distributors enabling us to create exceptional and beautiful timepieces, which meet the demands of our clients.

In 2004 we celebrated the World Premier of the Heart Beat Manufacture Calibre. The calibre was completely designed and developed in-house and is assembled in our workshop in Geneva. It is a 100% Swiss Made Watch. After its launch, the Frederique Constant Heart Beat Manufacture became an instant success. Its successor, the Heart Beat Manufacture Moonphase & Date was introduced during Baselworld 2005 and enjoys a high interest today. We are currently developing additional versions of the Manufacture Calibre. We are very pleased to continue our growth in this manner and are looking forward to future developments,” says Peter Stas.

To support its growth and to better organize its production, Frederique Constant has decided to construct a new headquarters in Plan-Les-Ouates, Geneva and will invest heavily in human resources and equipment. The new Frederique Constant headquarters will be operational as of November 2005.
