A highlight of the JA New York (JANY) Summer Show will be the debut of the Couture Pavilion and International Jewelry Design Guild (IJDG) Design Collections 2005, featuring innovative design groups.
JANY, which will be held at Manhattan's Jacob K. Javits Center from July 31 to Aug. 3, boasts more than 1,800 exhibitors, with 13,000 buyers and trade professionals expected to attend.
For the first time, the combined Couture Pavilion and IJDG Design Collection 2005 will occupy a distinctive shared location on the Galleria Level IV of the Javits Center. It is the only location to present the collections of these Couture designers outside of Las Vegas' Couture event.
“The premiere of the Couture Pavilion at the summer show continues the tradition of excellence that Couture has always been known for. We are thrilled to accommodate the Couture community at JA New York and, after the success of the Couture Pavilion at the Winter Show, we are excited to see what the summer will hold,” says Nancy Robey, vice president of the VNU Expositions Jewelry Group. “With the IJDG collection being housed near the Couture Pavilion in the Galleria, this elegantly expands the offerings at the JA show and gives retailers an even greater opportunity to view these spectacular collections.”
Other special sections at this year's show will include the Inner Circle and Collection Showcase, Platinum Pavilion, Place Vendome, WATCH AFICIONADO's Clock and Watch Pavilion, Antique & Estate Jewelry Pavilion, Diamond Way, Concours d'Elegance, New Product Gallery, Bench Jewelers Marketplace, American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) Colored Stone Section, and Gift Gallery.
International exhibitors and retailers will include pavilions from Hong Kong, Italy, Thailand, Turkey, Japan, Germany, Taiwan, Spain, Israel, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Singapore, Poland, Pakistan, Belgium, Korea, Mexico, Ukraine, Russia and more.
JANY's educational program will include seminars and lectures by experts and trendsetters within the jewelry industry.
