Autumn, with its sixth MOSCOW WATCH SALON, is getting closer and closer every day. This year is the year of changes for the exhibition: it has moved to a new site and, naturally, the dates of the Salon change a little. The fair will now be held in Moscow’s most up-to-date exhibition site, the new Crocus Expo exhibition complex from October 19-22, 2004!



The complex, which is in keeping with the image of the Salon, is designed for large-scale international exhibitions. It is situated between two popular shopping centres – Crocus City Mall and Tvoi Dom (Your Home). The goods presented in these centres range from the medium and high price categories and attract the well-to-do visitors. Additionally, the complex is situated close to the main roads of Moscow. Crocus Expo has convenient conference and presentation halls and is furnished with state-of-the-art exhibition equipment. There is also a large parking lot for 3,000 cars.

However, watches are the essence of this exhibition. In this regard, there will be many interesting things for visitors at the MOSCOW WATCH SALON-2004. Firstly, the fair plans to demonstrate the latest achievements in French watch design.

Secondly, lovers of antiques are also going to have a pleasant surprise since antique watches will be presented at the exhibition for the first time and they will also be able to purchase them.

Thirdly, in addition to new collections of watches, the countries that have been traditionally considered as the best wine producers are going to present diverse and high-quality kinds of wines to visitors at the exhibition.



Lastly, and, perhaps, the most interesting of all, there will be a separate hall for the presentation of Swiss Made watches at the Salon. The organizing committee has been working in this direction for a long time and the change of the exhibition site turned out to have a positive effect in this regard. It is quite obvious that it was high time to subdivide the exhibition because it was very difficult to present watches of vastly different price categories in the same exhibition hall. Many exhibitions throughout the world divide their shows in a similar manner.
