M’B – Montres et BijouxThe meeting place for industry professionals to be informed and … discover new trends

June 2004

“M'B- Montres et Bijoux”, an internationally-renowned French trade fair organised by BIJORHCA / Reed Expositions France, is dedicated exclusively to industry professionals for Costume and Precious Jewellery, Watches and related Technical Industries. It will be held from September 3-6, 2004 at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles (Hall 3).

In a new, more spacious location, better-adapted and reserved exclusively for this event, visitors and exhibitors will appreciate the profession's new creative impulses as well as innovative trade fair events … all in a festive, professional environment.

Bolstered by a strategically targeted media campaign, M'B's objective is to give a new, modern image to this sector of the industry via retail windows that will reflect jewellery's creative image and increase orders from French and foreign clients.

IT'S NEW !

A new creative impulse, a new trade fair mood …
The 2004 edition of “M'B – Montres et Bijoux” is placed under the sign of novelty. Visitors and exhibitors will appreciate the innovations designed to help them better profit from this annual event, both a window for trends and a place to discover and share professional information.

A new location …
For the first time, the “M’B Montres et Bijoux” fair will be held in Hall 3 of Paris Expo (Porte de Versailles), in the midst of the fashion trade fairs (Prêt-à-Porter Paris, Midec, Maroquinerie, Who's Next, Première Classe).

A new identity …
The “M’B Montres et Bijoux” and “Eclat de Mode” trade fairs will have two separate entries. Besides doing away with long lines at the entry, each fair will confirm their own identity and prove themselves to be self-sufficient yet complimentary events (visitors can pass freely between the two fairs once inside the halls).

A new set-up …
Alleys will be wider (increasing from 2,50 meters to an average of 3 meters wide), improving visitor circulation and allowing for better viewing of display windows.

New services …
“Prestige” and “conviviality” will by the event's key words ! “M’B Montres et Bijoux” will have its own press office, welcoming journalists and directing them along the “discovery” path, based on their needs.

A VIP club, exclusive to the M'B trade fair, will offer privileged visitors a calm, well-equipped area to work, relax and meet others.
M'B has chosen to collaborate with “Paris sur Mesure”, a company created to serve the trade fair industry. “Paris sur Mesure” offers specific VIP services with a high level of excellence.

For exhibitors, breakfast will be offered every day before the fair opens.

New events …
A Soirée Privée (Private Evening) will feature two spectacular catwalk shows portraying creative impulses in precious jewellery. It will take place on opening day, Friday September 3.

Store display experts will also be spotlighted this year, and a jury will honor the best among them.

Two giant, 4-meter screens will be installed at both ends of the Hall, projecting films and photos of the Soirée Privée's “star” jewellery throughout the entire trade fair.

Two new pavilions …
The Jeweller's Pavilion, located at the trade fair entrance, will feature 8 young talents.

As for the Pavillon des Marques (Brand Pavilion), it will display brands for the general public in a way that best depicts each brand's specific universe.
