ince its launch, the Disco Volante collection has embodied Furlan Marri’s approach to watchmaking: drawing inspiration from historical design codes while reinterpreting them with a modern eye. Its distinctive round shape, inspired by the “flying saucer” designs that appeared in the late 1930s, reflects the brand’s passion for vintage aesthetics and balanced proportions.
With the Disco Onyx, the collection takes on a striking presence and a more refined expression. The deep black onyx dial creates a strong contrast with baguette-cut laboratory diamond hour markers, bringing subtle brilliance to an otherwise minimalist composition.
At its heart beats the manually wound Peseux 7001, an ultra-thin calibre, appreciated for its slim profile and reliability. The movement has been entirely reworked and decorated in Switzerland, with meticulous hand-finished details including diamond-polished edges and black-polished components. Its annual production is limited by the availability of this movement.
