uebly is first and foremost a brand created by a watchmaking enthusiast, Adnane Kerd, a connoisseur and collector of both high-end contemporary watches and rare vintage timepieces, whose humble and intimate intention is to create a new proposition in the world of independent watchmaking (more to come on his creative journey in our upcoming issue 2/2025).

The first result shared with the world (and long since sold out): the Prologue. Carved from a block of Grade 5 titanium and housing a self-winding movement with a tungsten micro-rotor, the 42mm diameter case employs trompe-l’oeil techniques to create the illusion of a smaller diameter, more like 39-40mm.

The round bezel has been finely hand-worked with a variety of finishes – polished, sandblasted, straight grained, hooped, pearled and snail-grained, including on the inner surfaces. The seemingly simple, sober dial stands as a testament to unparalleled attention to detail. Its captivating deep blue hue is no accident; it is the culmination of a year’s dedicated effort to capture a colour both dark and luminous.

As with the dial, the retrograde sector has been pad-printed by hand as opposed to laser-engraved, an easier solution seen on many watches. But that’s not the Guebly way!
